    What is a Safe Queen?

A “Safe Queen” is typically known simply as: “a firearm that goes unused and is kept locked inside your safe.” We are not saying that is inherently wrong, but gun collectors like you and I both know that isn’t the reason we hunt for any item. The whole idea of collecting each safe queen on your list could be for many reasons but it might be the appreciation of the piece, the fit, or the finish in the artistry. It may have been the first of its kind, paving the way for other advancements in firearms technology, or “nostalgia” maybe Dad had one just like it.

The quality of the piece is one of the most important factors in what makes a Safe Queen. Other defining factors might be the scarcity of the item, its role in history, the one-off nature of an item, the first production run, etc. They can be expensive, and they can be affordable, and depending on their role in history they could be a little road worn.

At Safe Queens, that definition above is up to you, we aim to bring you a curated choice of rare and desirable firearms from Colt, Smith & Wesson, Winchester, Springfield, Remington, Browning, and many more.
