Colt Royal National Match Talo Edition 94 of 250 No Reserve

This Colt Royal National Match Talo Edition is number 94 of 250, a special edition national match pistol commissioned by TALO with the upgrades you would expect in a standard Gold Cup National Match plus a few more. Finished in Blue these feature the retro style slide roll marks and a polished slide. This pistol is fitted with an upgraded blade front sight, and an adjustable rear Colt branded Elliason style sight. Tastefully styled walnut grips are fitted to the frame with blue hex screws. It has a serrated match style wide trigger with reliefs, and a flat mainspring housing. The limited serial number range for these pistols are RBG001 – RBG250.

The finish on this pistol is without any known issue, most marks seen from oil. The slide is polished and mirror-like. Both the slide and frame show a deep finish throughout. The matte finish locations on the top of the slide and underside of the frame down through the front strap shows without any detractions. The barrel shows clean, and it wears the factory orange pistol plug in the ejection port. 

The markings on this pistol are as follows: Left side of the slide “COLT” flanked by “NATIONAL MATCH” and “AUTOMATIC CALIBRE .45”. The left side trigger bow wears a “VP” in a triangular cartouche above an “L”. The right side of the Royal National Match shows Colt’s address on the slide “COLTS MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT U.S.A” and the patent marked on the frame above the right grip as “COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” The patent mark leads to the serial number placed right above the trigger reliefs, “RBG094” 

Each walnut grip panel is finished smoothly on the ends with a scroll detail framing a center section of checkering. A lone gold rampant Colt sits at the center of each grip panel. As mentioned above, blue hex screws attached the grips to the frame. 

Other markings are on the rear sight, the top face is a rampant Colt, and the left side wears the Colt wordmark logo. The hood of the barrel is marked “-COLT 45 AUTO N.M.-” 

Two Magazines are included with this pistol, both are marked on the floor plate “COLT 45 AUTO” placed behind a rampant Colt and the other is an 8-round marked magazine.  

This Colt Royal National Match Talo Edition was produced in 2014 and comes complete with a blue hard clamshell case along factory included items; A Colt branded lock and key, Colt branded barrel bushing tool, Hex tool, additional recoil spring, additional 8-round magazine, Colt/Talo One of 250 production card, factory hang tag and Colt user information.
